Laguiole Knives MADE IN FRANCE

A ‘sommelier’ (French for wine steward) does not only recommend to his guests a wine complementary to their dishes but is also responsible for the optimal storage of the often precious wines. He is always informed about the optimal maturing of each wine and opens a wine bottle, professionally and competently pouring the wine for his guests. For this, a suitable tool is indispensable, the waiter’s knife! With the Sommelier knife by G. David Arbalete - forged by hand, with a curved blade to cut the bottle casing, the fivefold coiled screw and its exceptionally designed form of handle – you too are able to powerfully but yet gently open every bottle in perfect balance, however recalcitrant it may be.
